Rewind Festival Scotland Review: Day 1, Friday 20 July
The evening's top quality entertainment started at 6:00pm with sister band The School Reunion Band playing some classic school disco classic hits from yester year and today, from Shake A Tail Feather and Do You Love Me? through to Domino and Poker Face.
Live Karaoke Band, featuring Nicola and Gemma helping the guests, James on drums, Ali on bass, Swanny on guitar and Mark on keyboards, took over at 9:00pm to entertain the party goers.
Without any word of exaggeration, this was the best rockaoke gig ever. Word.
Everyone who came up to sing gave an amazing performance. Everyone in the audience sang their hearts out together, screamed and cheered and applauded each singer with thunderous applause, waving their hands in the air to such classics as Sweet Caroline, Delilah, It's Not Unusual, Kids In America, The Shoop Shoop Song, All Right Now, Black Velvet and Amarillo.
The highlight of the evening was without doubt the attempted splits-landing by the lady as she finished singing Dancing Queen. Yup, on the last note she jumped up in the air, stretched her legs apart and attempted to land gracefully pulling the splits.
We wish her well during her recovery.
