ABBAOKE: sing ABBA with a live band
Looking for an ABBA karaoke band with a difference? ABBAOKE lets your guests step onto the stage and sing more than 40 ABBA songs live with a professional five-piece band.
From Dancing Queen and Mamma Mia to Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!, Waterloo and Voulez-Vous, your guests become the singers while The Live Karaoke Band provides the musicians.
An ABBA karaoke band where your guests are the stars
This isn't ordinary karaoke and it isn't an ABBA tribute act. With ABBAOKE, your guests take centre stage and perform ABBA songs with real musicians playing behind them.
Our five-piece band features lead vocalist and host, guitar, keyboards, bass and drums. Guests choose from more than 40 ABBA songs, submit their requests using our online request system and then step up to the microphone when it's their turn to perform.
Lyrics appear on the band's screen in front of the stage, so nobody needs to know every word. All they need to do is choose a song and channel their inner Dancing Queen.
More than 40 ABBA songs to choose from
We've created a dedicated ABBAOKE repertoire featuring more than 40 songs spanning some of ABBA's biggest hits, singalong favourites and fan favourites.
Songs include:
- Dancing Queen
- Mamma Mia
- Waterloo
- Gimme! Gimme! Gimme! (A Man After Midnight)
- Super Trouper
- Take a Chance on Me
- Voulez-Vous
- Does Your Mother Know
- Lay All Your Love on Me
- The Winner Takes It All
- SOS
- Knowing Me, Knowing You
- Money, Money, Money
- Fernando
- Chiquitita
- One of Us
- Thank You for the Music
- Honey, Honey
- Angeleyes
- Summer Night City
And plenty more!
ABBA party entertainment with a difference
Everyone knows ABBA. That's what makes ABBAOKE such a brilliant format for parties and events.
Some guests will be desperate to get on stage. Others will sing along from the dance floor, and plenty will be just as happy watching their friends, family or colleagues have their moment in the spotlight.
You might get a note-perfect The Winner Takes It All. You might get four colleagues fighting over who gets to sing Waterloo. That's all part of it.
ABBAOKE works particularly well for weddings, corporate events, birthday parties, Christmas parties, hen parties and ABBA-themed celebrations.
Add ABBAOKE to your Live Karaoke Band show
ABBAOKE is available as a themed upgrade to our Live Karaoke Band packages.
We'll turn part of your normal live karaoke performance into a dedicated ABBAOKE section, giving your guests access to our 40+ song ABBA repertoire alongside the rest of the songs available during the evening.
The upgrade includes the specially prepared ABBA repertoire, themed request experience and hosted ABBAOKE performance, while retaining everything that makes The Live Karaoke Band work so well.
Your guests still choose the songs. They still take the microphone. They still perform with a professional live band. We've just added a gloriously Swedish twist.
You can see our standard band packages and other optional extras on our prices page.
Perfect for corporate events
If you're looking for interactive ABBA entertainment for a corporate event, ABBAOKE gives you something very different from a conventional tribute act or function band.
Colleagues can perform individually, sing as duos or put together their own impromptu ABBA supergroup. Departments can compete against each other, managers can be persuaded onto the stage and the rest of the room becomes the audience.
Because ABBA's music crosses generations, it works particularly well for company events with a broad mix of ages and musical tastes.
Perfect for weddings and private parties
ABBAOKE can also become a featured part of a wedding or private party without taking over the whole evening.
Start with the full range of songs available from The Live Karaoke Band, move into an ABBAOKE section later in the night and see how many Dancing Queens your guests can produce.
For dedicated ABBA-themed parties, we can also discuss how to make ABBAOKE a bigger part of the evening.
How does ABBAOKE work?
Just like the main Live Karaoke Band show, we've made taking part as simple as possible.
- Your guests scan the QR code displayed around the venue.
- They browse the available songs and submit their request.
- Our host calls them up when it's their turn.
- The lyrics appear on the screen in front of the stage.
- They sing ABBA with the band playing live behind them.
No backing tracks. No karaoke machine. A real live band and your guests on vocals.
