On Thursday 21 August, Banijay UK Productions Ltd - the company behind hit TV shows including Big Brother, Celebrity Big Brother, MasterChef and Peaky Blinders - hosted an exclusive late-night corporate karaoke party in the heart of Edinburgh during the Fringe Festival.

This year marked a special milestone, as the party coincided with the 17th anniversary of The Live Karaoke Band’s very first show. And what better way to celebrate than with a three-hour set of high-energy corporate karaoke entertainment that kept guests singing into the early hours of Friday morning.

Banijay had previously hosted their Fringe parties with a solo pianist and karaoke machine, but 2025 was the year they upgraded to the full live band experience. Just like Banijay’s world-famous productions, the show was a hit with everyone in attendance. Guests from Netflix, Amazon, BBC and ITV joined in the fun, taking to the stage to front a real rock band.

The setlist was packed with classic karaoke favourites, including Living On A Prayer by Bon Jovi, Valerie by Amy Winehouse and Don’t Look Back In Anger by Oasis, alongside back catalogue gems like My Generation by The Who, Teenage Kicks by The Undertones and Stop by The Spice Girls.
